The International Readers of Homer is a literary arts organization dedicated to great poetry read aloud by any person who wishes to do so.  Our audience participation readings of the Iliad and the Odyssey bring the classics alive as we all share the joy and power of hearing and performing the great epic together. Our message is always one of peace.

In honor of our beloved Founder, Kathryn Hohlwein, we are thrilled to announce a memorial reading of the Iliad  at Vivarium Novum, Italy's preeminent academy for classical studies, in Frascati, Italy.  The reading will feature Latin, Greek, Italian, and the languages of the world.
